THE TOMORROW WAR Trailer Reveals Chris Pratt In a Time-Travel Mission to Save Earth

Amazon have released a action packed Trailer for The Tomorrow War. Check it out below:

The movie stars Jurassic World’s and Guardian of the Galaxy’s Chris Pratt. It also stars Yvonne Strahovski, J.K. Simmons, Betty Gilpin, Sam Richardson, Edwin Hodge, Jasmine Mathews, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, and Keith Powers.

The premise of the film looks exciting for Sci-Fi fans. It also gives away the Inciting Incident and our main character’s motivation. It should be exciting to see whether it delivers on its promise or not. The project is directed by Chris McKay and written by Zach Dean. You can read the full premise below:

In The TOMORROW WAR, the world is stunned when a group of time travelers arrive from the year 2051 to deliver an urgent message: Thirty years in the future mankind is losing a global war against a deadly alien species. The only hope for survival is for soldiers and civilians from the present to be transported to the future and join the fight. Among those recruited is high school teacher and family man Dan Forester (Chris Pratt). Determined to save the world for his young daughter, Dan teams up with a brilliant scientist (Yvonne Strahovski) and his estranged father (J.K. Simmons) in a desperate quest to rewrite the fate of the planet.

The trailer has done a good job by selling the time-traveling conflict, with citizens being forcefully drafted into a war in the future to avoid the total extinction of humanity. Who doesn’t love a ticking clock with extinction on the other end?

As of this moment, there is no plan for a cinema release which is a shame. THE TOMORROW WAR premieres July 2, 2021, globally on Prime Video.
