cruella movie review

CRUELLA (2021) Review

An imaginative retelling of a classic story with just enough twist and revelation to add authenticity to an origin telling. Cruella is a tonic served with dark humor and outrageous fashion against a backdrop of seventies punk rock and revolution. If you go into it with the right expectations, then this film is bloody brilliant. It really delivers what it promises to be; wildly entertaining.

the unholy movie review

THE UNHOLY (2021) Review

The Unholy starts out with an interesting plot and has a couple of good actors/actresses throughout. However, the horror element is basically non-existent because of how the villain looks or reacts and how unnecessary her character ends up being. All that without mentioning just how stupid the religious elements are. But that’s not a surprise, isn’t it?

zack snyders army of the dead review

Zack Snyder’s ARMY OF THE DEAD (2021) Review | NETFLIX

Army of the Dead is nothing more and nothing less than any other zombie film. It’s filled with the gory battles between men and zombies, resulting in mayhem and carnage. It also has the usual no-character arc problem and unnecessarily prolonged runtime. But it also has a sense of uniqueness and visions of lore which even though not fully utilized, yet effective enough to ask us for more. So, here is my Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead Review.

salman khan radhe review

RADHE (2021) Review | Salman Khan

When a movie starts with your lead actor running through a glass in light-speed, you know how the rest will unfold, isn’t it? Radhe is a 2021 Bollywood movie starring the Bhai of Bollywood, Salman Khan. It also stars Randeep Hooda, Disha Patani, and Jackie Shroff. The film is directed by the always-awful Prabhudeva. So, here is my Review for Salman Khan’s Radhe.

mortal kombat movie review

MORTAL KOMBAT (2021) Movie Review

Mortal Kombat is a confusing mess of a movie that does a bad job narratively like any other video game movie. The action can be satisfying at times; Joe Taslim and Hiroyuki Sanada do a phenomenal job with their fighting sequences as well as selling us on their rivalry. Though a more interesting movie would have been how that rivalry got to where it was. They both even manage to deliver the clunky dialogue of the script well. The rest of the cast come across like they’re doing parodies of stupid soap operas.

godzilla vs kong review

GODZILLA vs. KONG (2020) Review

Godzilla vs. Kong is a jaw-dropping spectacle about these two legendry monsters tossing each other through buildings and bonking each other with giant axes and atomic blasts. How can you not love that? It’s big, silly, and action-packed fun brought to life with some of the best CGI works in the business. Although the human aspects and set-up once again disappoint, it doesn’t affect the overall spectacle that this film is. If you were itching to head into the cinema for a blockbuster epic, then your search should be over now.

zack snyder's justice league review

Zack Snyder’s Justice League Review: JUSTICE IS SERVED

Zack Snyder has delivered with his version of Justice League, shaping it into a character-driven epic of mythic heroes among us. A massive improvement over the heavily CGI coated, significantly changed and the extremely lame version we got from Joss Whedon in 2017, Zack Snyder’s Justice League restores the original vision he had for DCEU shared universe and also gives the viewers a glimpse of the grand, ambitious plans he had in store for the future. Crafted with sincerity and great passion in every frame, Zack Snyder’s Justice League is an epic extravaganza that aptly fulfills its genre’s obligations but also dares to be more than that.

coma movie review

COMA (2020) Movie Review

Coma is a 2020 Russian Sci-Fi film released in dubbed English version. It’s about a man who awakes in a chaotic dystopian world filled with memories of comatose patients and nonexistent laws of physics. Anyone who goes to a coma goes to that world as per the initial setup but we later find out that it’s just a mad scientist’s experiment. It may be Russian but it has all the Hollywood signage in it.

GREENLAND (2020) Review

A thrilling, emotional, hard-hitting, action-filled, rollercoaster for which you won’t be able to take your eyes off the screen for its entire runtime. This movie showcases how humans (civilians and governments) might act towards each other in this type of global disaster.
